CIEH Level 1 Certificate in Food Safety

Overview

This qualification is designed for employees handling low-risk or wrapped food or those that are involved with lower risk activities such as waiters and check-out staff.

Course Content

The training program lasts around 3 hours and covers the following topics:

Assessment method

15 multiple choice question examination, 30 minutes long. Candidates need 10 correct answers to pass the course.

Certificate

Exam papers are marked by the Chartered Institute of Environmental Health (CIEH) and certificates are issued within around 6 weeks of taking the course. RS Food Hygiene will then either hand deliver or post (by Royal Mail Recorded Delivery) the Certificate to you.
